David and Amelia met while working at Richland County EMS. They were friends for a long while before David finally asked Amelia on a date! They had their first date at Hall's Chophouse in Columbia, South Carolina on Valentine's Day in 2022.

David shared a piece of himself with Amelia a couple months after they started dating by taking Amelia to her first hockey game! Go Ducks!

To celebrate their birthdays, David and Amelia traveled to Helen Georgia with a group of friends!

Amelia and David left their home in Irmo, South Carolina for the big move to Colorado to start graduate school!

Amelia and David graduated from Colorado State University with Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in anatomy and physiology. David had a concentration in neurobiology, while Amelia had a concentration in human anatomy.

David planned a graduation party to celebrate their accomplishments and surprised Amelia by popping the question!
